Cardinal O'Hara & La Salle College Capture Titles At 2016-17 PCL Indoor Track & Field Championships

BETHLEHEM, PA - Senior Olivia Arizin won the 800m run in a meet-record time of 2:14.95 as Cardinal O'Hara captured the girls' title on Sunday at the 2016-17 Philadelphia Catholic League Indoor Track & Field Championships on the campus of Lehigh University.
On the boys' side, senior Alex Sislo claimed gold in the long jump (21-8 1/4) and finished second in the high jump to teammate Jonathon Squadrito as La Salle College won the boys' championship.
Among the numerous standout performances on the day included the Neumann-Goretti quartet of Eliza Brooks, Mykala Perry, Jazmyn Ellis and Sydni Townsend setting a PCL record in the girls' 4x400m relay (4:02.37), while Miles Green of St. Joseph's Prep posted a meet-record time of 49.38 in the boys' 400m dash en route to a first place finish.
