SPRINGFIELD, PA - 
Senior Olivia Arizin won the 800m for the third time in her record-setting career and sisters Eleanor and Elizabeth Mancini finished first and second, respectively, in the 3,200m as Cardinal O'Hara captured the girls' title on Monday afternoon under brilliant sunshine at the 2017 Philadelphia Catholic League Outdoor Track & Field Championships on the campus Cardinal O'Hara High School.  

On the boys' side, La Salle College won its third consecutive PCL crown as Noah Walker captured gold in the shot put (50-1), discus (157-0) and javelin (183-2) events, while senior teammate Alex Sislo won the long jump competition and finished second in the high jump. 

Arizin posted a winning time of 2:13.28, teammate Schola Eburuoh placed first in both the long jump (17-4) and triple jump (36-6 1/4), and the Lions earned victories in the 4x400m (4:05.84) and 4X800m (9:56.91) relays.  

Among the many standout performances on the afternoon included Janese Lynch of Neumann-Goretti setting meet records in both the discus (132-0) and shot put (43-4) competitions; senior Miles Green of St. Joseph's Prep establishing PCL records in the 300m hurdles (38.08) and 400m dash (47.56); Neumann-Goretti's Sydni Townsend winning both the 100m hurdles (15.28) and 300m hurdles (45.56); and Blair Knuckle of Bishop McDevitt tying the PCL girls' record in the high jump (5-5).
