PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Philadelphia Catholic League Girls’ & Boys’ Basketball Championship games will once again return to the historic Palestra for the 2020 season.
The finals of the 2020 Girls’ & Boys’ PCL Championships will be held on Monday, Feb. 24, while the Boys’ Semifinals will also be played at The Palestra on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
In front of a sellout crowd last year, Roman captured its second consecutive league title with a 64-50 win over La Salle College. On the girls’ side, Archbishop Carroll earned its first PCL crown since 2012 with a thrilling 48-42 overtime victory versus Archbishop Wood.
In early February, tickets will be made available for purchase online at
www.aopathletics.org. Any remaining tickets may be purchased on game day at The Palestra box office. Additional ticket information and game times will be announced at a later date.
