PHILADELPHIA, PA - The 2022 Philadelphia Catholic League Girls' & Boys' Basketball Championship doubleheader at The Palestra had a higher attendance than a large majority of the Division I Men's Basketball Conference Championship games this season.
Wins by Cardinal O'Hara (girls) and Neumann-Goretti (boys) on Feb. 28 in the PCL Championship Doubleheader were witnessed by a sellout crowd of 8,722, which was higher than 22 Division I Men's Basketball Conference Championship Games in 2022.
