Lansdale Catholic Appoints Keith Reider Director Of Athletics

LANSDALE, PA - Lansdale Catholic High School welcomes Mr. Keith Reider as the new Director of Athletics. Mr. Reider’s appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Mark Princehorn, who had served as AD since 2019, and has recently accepted the Boys' Lacrosse head coaching position at St. Joseph’s Prep.
Mr. Reider recently worked in the Athletic Training division of GrandView Hospital, but from mid 2019 until this past May, he was the Head Athletic Trainer at Lansdale Catholic for NovaCare Rehabilitation. During his three years at Lansdale Catholic he worked directly with the AD on daily administrative programs, as well as collaborating with medical professionals, ensuring that the student-athletes received the best health care available for game related injuries. He also created programs for student-athletes to prevent injuries.
Mr. Reider has earned an Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Temple University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University, where he also played on the Men’s Club Volleyball and Soccer teams. He is an active member of the National Athletic Training Association. Additionally, he is certified in First Aid & Safety and CPR.
“I am very enthusiastic to rejoin Lansdale Catholic High School,” said Mr. Reider, upon accepting the position. “I look forward to once again being part of the close-knit LC community, where staff, students and families all work together to uplift one another in academics and athletics.” Mr. Reider will begin his new responsibilities on September 1.
Lansdale Catholic is a member of the prestigious Philadelphia Catholic League and the PIAA District 12. LC athletic teams have garnered several PCL titles as well as more than two dozen PIAA District 12 Championships in the past decade.
Lansdale Catholic High School is a secondary school of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. More than $35 million in grants and scholarships for higher education were awarded to members of the Class of 2022.The school serves a student population of 600 that resides in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, 17 school districts and 28 parish communities. Ms. Rita McGovern is the Principal and Mr. James Casey is the President.
