West Catholic Senior Taleea Buxton Receives Prestigious Honor From PA Milesplit

PHILADELPHIA, PA - West Catholic senior Taleea Buxton has been named the Athlete of the Month for December by PA Milesplit following her terrific start to the 2022-23 Indoor Track & Field season.
Buxton won the triple jump with a mark of 36-5 on Dec. 10 at the Ursinus Invitational and claimed the 55m hurdles (8.03) at the Ocean Breeze Holiday Festival in Staten Island on Dec. 27. Her time in the hurdles is the fastest in the state this season and fourth nationally, while her mark in the triple jump stands as the fourth-best in the state.
