BRISTOL, PA -
Joe McNally had a 680 series and Daniel Wang totaled 672 as fourth seed Archbishop Ryan edged No. 2 Conwell-Egan, 2917-2850, to capture the 2023 PCL Boys’ Bowling Championship on Saturday morning at Bristol Lanes.

McNally posted scores of 232, 233 and 215 while Wang recorded a team-high 238 for AR, which advanced to the finals for the first time since 2019 after notching playoff wins over No. 5 Archbishop Carroll (2638-2484) and top seed Father Judge (2827-2773).

Making its first PCL Championship game appearance since 2016, Conwell-Egan was led by first-team All-Catholic honorees Brian Baill (643) and Matt Coppola (612), who notched a match-high 278 in the opening game.

Best of luck to all of the student-athletes at the C.A.I.T. Tournament on Feb. 26.
