Neumann-Goretti Football Program's 2023 Opener In Cincinnati More Than Blocking & Tackling

CINCINNATI, OH - The Neumann-Goretti football program participated in a meaningful service project with Elder High School on Saturday morning following their contest on Friday evening.
The student-athletes from both schools painted and cleaned mailboxes outsides the homes of the Bayley Retirement Community in Cincinnati. Founded by the Sisters of Charity, the community is home to approximatelty 300 residents.
Host Elder earned a 35-14 win over the Saints on Friday evening. Since the 1927-1928 school year, Elder has operated as a Catholic, all-male, comprehensive high school, enrolling students ranging from the academically challenged to the academically gifted.
