Attendance For The 2024 PCL Finals Among Top Basketball Championship Events Nationally

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The 2024 Philadelphia Catholic League Girls' & Boys' Basketball Championship doubleheader at The Palestra had a higher attendance than the majority of Division I Men's Basketball Conference Championship games this season.
Overtime victories by Archbishop Wood (girls) and Roman (boys) on Feb. 26 before an electric sellout crowd of 8,722 was higher than 24 Division I Men’s Basketball Conference Championship contests in 2024.
Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS) served as the presenting partner for the 2024 Girls’ & Boys’ Basketball Championships. The partnership was highlighted by a comprehensive sponsorship of the PCL Boys’ Basketball Semifinals and Girls’ & Boys’ Championship games at The Palestra.
