Senior Sienna Golden Of Archbishop Carroll To Receive Prestigious Scholar-Athlete Award

RADNOR, PA - The Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, Delco Chapter has announced that Archbishop Carroll senior Sienna Golden has been named the recipient of the Bo & Kelly Ryan Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award. Athletes were selected for exemplary athletic accomplishments, academic performance and commitment to community service and volunteering.
Golden earned PCL Field Hockey MVP honors this Fall and tallied a goal in the Patriots’ 5-1 win over Cardinal O’Hara on Oct. 29 in the league's championship match. Archbishop Carroll also captured the 2023 District XII 2A Field Hockey Championship. Golden started on defense in June as the ACHS Girls’ Lacrosse program seized the PIAA 2A title on June 17 with a 17-5 victory against Twin Valley on the campus of Penn State University. Golden will continue her academic and field hockey pursuits at Ohio State University next Fall.
The 2nd Annual All-Sports High School Scholar-Athlete Banquet will be held on Sunday, Apr. 7 at the Ballroom at Boothwyn.
