PHILADELPHIA, PA - Senior Carryn Easley scored 12 of her team-high 16 points in the opening half and Neumann-Goretti knocked down all eight of its free throw attempts in the final 51 seconds en route to a 50-43 win over Archbishop Carroll on Sunday afternoon in the finals of the 2025 PCL Girls’ Basketball Championship at The Palestra.

The win secured the Saints’ first league title since 2015.

NG limited Archbishop Carroll to just 14 points in the opening half as it entered the locker room with a 23-14 lead. The third-seeded Patriots took their first lead of the game (40-39) with 4:15 remaining in the contest on a three-point field goal by junior Alexis Eberz and a pair of free throws by younger sister Kayla.

However, senior Amaya Scott and guard Reginna Baker combined for six critical free throws to secure the victory. Scott finished with 13 points on the afternoon, while Baker and junior Zion Coston added eight points apiece. Seeking its first PCL crown since 2019. Kayla Eberz (11 rebounds) led ACHS with 21 points while Alexis added 15.

Neumann-Goretti will play in the District XII 4A Championship this week while Archbishop Carroll will compete in the 6A Finals.
