PHILADELPHIA, PA - Victories by Hunter Webster (114 lbs.), Toby McIntyre (121 lbs.), Tommy Boyce (127 lbs.) and Lukas Grodzki (133 lbs.) to open the match lifted Conwell-Egan to a 37-27 win over host St. Joseph's Prep in the finals of the 2026 PCL Wrestling Championship on Wednesday evening at Kelly Fieldhouse.
Also securing victories were MJ Gorrell (145 lbs.), Colin Walther via forfeit at 152 lbs., Jaiden Goffman (160 lbs.) and Jacob Stout (189 lbs.) as the Eagles captured their fourth PCL title in five years. Keegan Swift (172 lbs.), John Boggs (215 lbs.) and Colton Anderson (285 lbs.) each registered pins for St. Joseph's Prep, which was vying for the program's first league crown since 2000.
Conwell-Egan will host Simon Gratz in the District XII 2A Championship while St. Joseph’s Prep will host Northeast High School in the District XII 3A Championship. Both matches will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29.
The PCL Individual Championships will be held Feb. 14 at La Salle College High School.
