PHILADELPHIA, PA - 
Senior Derrick Morton-Rivera scored a game-high 27 points defending champion Father Judge overcame a 16-point first half deficit to defeat top-seeded Archbishop Wood, 52-46, in the opening semifinal of the 2026 PCL Boys’ Basketball Semifinals before a crowd of more than 8,000 at The Palestra.

The Crusaders will meet Neumann-Goretti in the PCL Finals on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 2:30 p.m. at The Palestra.

Junior Jeremiah Adedeji added seven points for No. 4 Father Judge (14-10), which trailed 11-0 to open the game.  Senior Brady MacAdams scored 15 points and forward Caleb Lundy added eight points for Archbishop Wood (17-7) which was seeking its first PCL title since 2021. 

Senior Deshawn Yates and forward Marquis Newson scored 19 points apiece as No. 4 Neumann-Goretti rallied from an eight-point second half deficit to edge No. 2 Bonner & Prendie, 64-60.  Senior forward Allassane N’Diaye added nine points for the Saints (19-4) who advanced to the finals for the third time in five seasons.  Seeking its first league crown since 1988, Bonner & Prendie (19-5) had four players in double figures led by junior Korey Francis (18) and sophomore Jakeem Carroll (16).
