EJ Roedl Of Archbishop Carroll Earns Silver Medalist Honors At 2026 PIAA Boys' Tennis Championships

HERSHEY, PA - Senior EJ Roedl of Archbishop Carroll finished runner-up in the 2026 PIAA Boys’ Tennis 2A Individual Championship held May 22-23 at the Hershey Racquet Club.
Roedl – the District XII 2A individual champion – earned wins in his first three matches of the Championship before falling in a closely contested three-set final on May 23 to defending champion Max Henson of Belle Vernon HS (6-3, 3-6, 3-6).
2A First Round: EJ Roedl def. Gavin Henry (St. Mary’s Area) – 6-1 6-0
2A Quarterfinals: EJ Roedl def. Parth Khachane (Wyomissing) – 6-2, 7-5
2A Semifinals: EJ Roedl def. Will Meagher (Quaker Valley) – 6-1, 6-1
2A Finals: Max Henson (Belle Vernon) def. EJ Roedl – 3-6, 6-3, 6-3
