Bonner & Prendie Alum Makes His MLB Debut With The San Francisco Giants

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - 
2020 Bonner & Prendie graduate Nate Furman recently made his MLB debut with the San Francisco Giants on Aug. 1. 

Furman was elevated from the Sacramento River Cats (AAA) after batting .284 with 57 runs, 42 RBI and 18 stolen bases.  He drew a walk on Aug. 3 for the Giants versus the Texas Rangers in a 5-1 victory.  Furman was selected in the fourth round (121st overall) of the 2022 Major League Baseball Draft by the Cleveland Guardians. 

He led the Charlotte 49ers in batting average (.371), runs (67), hits (86), walks (49) and steals (21) while starting all 58 games in 2022 and was a two-time All-League selection at Charlotte.
